Zachary and Lauren's 50's birthday party

 

Today we celebrated Zachary 10th and Lauren's 4th birthdays.  We all dressed up like it was the 1950's and went to the local bowling alley.  We then came home and had our own sock hop with 50's music and cupcakes shaped like floats.  It was a blast!!!

Merry Christmas 2012!  We had a very nice Christmas at my parents house.  We had a candlelight church service on Christmas eve.  Christmas morning we recounted the story of Jesus' birth with the children.  We then opened all of the presents.  We had a nice brunch together and later in the day had a turkey dinner.   We are very thankful for all our blessings and that we can be together this year.

Summer Fun

Thomas, our nephew, came to spend the summer with us. Thankfully because Christophe got a job and he has become our full time nanny while we find other childcare arrangements. He has been great, taking the boys to the pool, to the park, etc.

Lukah's birthday

Tulip Festival

For our 12th wedding anniversary we went to the tulip festival. It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun! We even had a picnic and got to see some old fashioned tractors - what more could a bunch of boys ask for?

Popola et Grand-maman

We have "un bon souvenir" of our time with Popola and Grand-maman. We had a few day trips in Oregon including Multinomah falls, Ecola state park and Cannon Beach. Mostly though we just stayed home and enjoyed each other.
